Governance
The management
We subscribe to different regulators in Uganda for example Wakiso District and NGO forum among others. Care for a Girl Uganda is managed by an Advisory Board and a Management Committee. The Board as the supreme governing body, ensures policy development, and compliance and appoints the management committee. The board is composed of three founder members. The management committee is responsible for resource mobilization, day-to-day planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of organizational activities. The management committee is composed of heads of programs, the administrative committee, and the Team Lead. The Team Lead reports to the Advisory Board and is responsible for implementing the projects according to policies set by the Board. Care for a Girl Uganda also plans to establish community-based committees for each core area of intervention to ensure sustainability and accountability to the communities served. The issues raised by the community and the annual general meeting inform the planning and implementation processes of the organization.
